We use secure online payment processing by Stripe. Payment will be reserved on your card, but only debited once your booking is manually approved (usually within 1-2 hours).

FAQ's

When do I pay for my holiday?

If booked 10 weeks or more in advance, we take 50% payment on card at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. If booked less than 60 days in advance, the full payment is taken upfront.

What about damage and incidentals?

As per the Booking Terms, if there is damage to the cottage during your stay, or if additional cleaning is required beyond normal wear, you may be charged up to an additional £150.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Please arrive after 4pm and leave by 10am.

Do you offer short stays?

Yes, short breaks (minimum three nights) are available throughout the year.

Do you provide a cot and high chair?

There is plenty of room in the two king-size doubles to accommodate cots, and we can adapt the twin if it is not in use by two people. We can provide a travel cot and high chair if required – please contact us for further details.

What if I have to cancel?

You can cancel without charge up to 60 days before your arrival date. We also have a refund guarantee relating to Covid-19 restrictions. If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible.

If we don’t receive your 50% balance on time, we may cancel and re-advertise the dates. All payments will be forfeited.

If you provide less than 60 days notice, we will retain your payment in full. Please take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations.

Are dogs allowed?

We unfortunately don’t allow any pets at 12 Newchurch.

Is there parking?

There is on-street parking in marked bays outside the cottage.
